The president of HotéisRIO, Alfredo Lopes, is optimistic about the Carnival holiday. “This occupation tends to rise because the national market begins to react. At the beginning of the year, people have a lot of expenses with IPTU, IPVA and school supplies and end up postponing elective decisions. But Rio de Janeiro has a high attraction capacity that will allow us to reach more than 90% of occupancy during Carnival”.
