December marked the launch of the Rio de Janeiro State Tourist Offer Inventory. The event took place on the 20th, in the auditorium of the annex building of the Guanabara Palace, with the presence of the then Secretary of State for Tourism, Nilo Sergio Felix.
The work, which is part of the National Tourism Development Program (Prodetur/RJ), will serve as a reference for information and investments in the interior of Rio de Janeiro.
The inventory includes 23 cities in priority tourist regions and was coordinated by UFF – Universidade Federal Fluminense.
The extensive field research mapped tourist attractions, infrastructure, equipment, services and the segment's production chain with the participation of professors and students from UFF, UFRRJ – Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Cefet de Nova Friburgo, Veiga de Almeida and Cederj .
The material seeks to collaborate in the strategic planning of Tourism and guide actions to promote tourist activity in the interior of the state.
