ABIH-RJ and HotéisRIO are partners with the Civil Police in the Safe Hosting project, which consists of greater integration and automation of communication between the police forces and the hotel industry, with the aim of promoting greater agility and convenience for hoteliers and guests in responding to alerts and occurrences, in addition to enabling the reduction of financial losses due to fraud crimes and speed in the delivery of important information for investigations. The Safe Housing program is in the final stages of preparation and the Civil Police is expected to be implemented in the first quarter of 2024.

The legal advice, led by Rafe Advogados, addressed the economic panorama for the negotiations of the 2023/2024 Collective Labor Agreement with Sigabam and Sindhoteleiro, with a presentation by Charles Moreira, in addition to making a technical presentation on the impacts of tax reform on the hotel industry , with presentation by Ricardo Almeida.

President Alfredo Lopes issued a warning to hotel projects with legal issues with the city hall: hotels that carried out works with tax incentives for major events should contact the SMDEIS (Municipal Secretariat).
